Is it just me or is this the same with yor parents?

I'm not like that and I'm nineteen. I talk to my mom about stuff that's going on in my life. Sure I went through a period where I didn't want to have anything to do with her but I find that as you grow up more your relationship changes. I don't cling to my mom like I did when I was a kid but I still look to her for advice. We act more like two grown ups together instead of a parent and child.
