Science question need help?

Ok well im on phone so errors in speling may occur. So now on with the question I was wondering if objects have any color at night or in the dark. The reason im wondering is because of the light wavelengths that make the object able to be seen by human eyes. So I was thinking if a red apple absorbed all the other wavelengths and the red one was reflected the apple would then have its color but if the light was tuned off would it still b red and im not very good in science and am only 13 so idk if I used the right terms.
