Who is a person in history who killed a somebody they hated?

Not like Hitler hated Jews, so he killed them; I want them to have killed one specific person. Also, what is an object that person had (i.e. Lewis Carroll's mirror, Poseidon's trident, Man Ray's camera, ect.)? It's for a story I'm writing.
