Why do I feel weird when I look to the left?

Before I go to the Doc feeling like a weirdo, does anyone know why I might get palpitations and a dizzy feeling when I move my eyes to the left or right, it is more pronounced on the left though and I have also been suffering with twitching of the left eye a lot recently.
