How long do Amercian Eagle midi shorts fit on yor legs?

So, I still have about a month of school and it's starting to get really hot.. I need some shorts. I really hate bermuda shorts, and capris are too hot now. My school has a dress code rule that shorts must go down to your finger tips when you relax your shoulders and lay your arms straight down. I am about to order about 6 pairs of the American Eagle midi shorts (they're on sale this weekend only!) but I need to know, do they fit a little further than mid-thigh? thanks(:
